In KL, traffic is slow moving along these roads:-
Jln Tun Razak (near US Embassy) - Jln Loke Yew, Jln Raja Chulan - Jln Bukit Bintang, Surrounding areas of Puduraya, Jln Pudu - Jln Imbi, Jln Hang Tuah - Jln Maharajalela, and Jln Ampang - Jln Jelatek
The Penang Bridge will be closed to traffic from 2am to 10am on 16th Nov 2008 (Sunday).
Please use the ferry services which will be in operations, through out the duration of the closure.
ROAD CLOSURES & DIVERSIONS -
KLANG TOWN
Description:
1. Closure of the Bulatan 100 roundabout flyover (from KL - Port Klang bound only)
2. Change of traffic flow to one way street along Jalan Batu 3, Lebuh Tapah & Jalan Mantin (from Bulatan 100 till Jalan Kapar)
Duration: for 3 months, effective 01st November 2008
Purpose: to facilitate construction of approach slabs for a new flyover to the Kota Bridge
Alternatives:
1. Motorists from KL heading towards Port Klang or Banting will be diverted to Bulatan 100 and Jalan Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim or Jalan Batu 3 slip roads.
2. Motorists from the NKVE heading towards Jalan Kapar-Kapar town, Jalan Meru-Meru town, Northport or Port Klang are advised to avoid going through Klang town and to use the Shahpadu Highway instead.
3. Motorists from the Shahpadu Highway & the NKVE heading towards Jalan Kota Raja, Jalan Kebun, Jalan Sg Jati dan its surrounding areas are advised to avoid Klang town and to use Jalan Haji Mohammad Sigin (Connaught Bridge) or the KESAS Highway.
4. Motorists from the Musaeddin Bridge heading towards KL will have to take:
Jalan Pasar - Lebuh Tapah - Jalan Keretapi Lama - Jalan Kluang - Jalan Kapar - Shahpadu - Federal Highway OR
Jalan Pasar - Lebuh Tapah - Jalan Mantin - Jalan Sireh - Bulatan 100
5. Motorists from Jalan Keretapi Lama and Jalan Kapar - south of Klang or Banting will have to take:
Jalan Kapar - Jalan Sireh - Bulatan 100 - Jalan Batu 3 - Musaeddin Bridge OR
Jalan Kapar - Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim - U turn below Bulatan 100 - Kota Bridge OR
Jalan Kapar/Jalan Keretapi Lama - Jalan Goh Hock Huat - Jalan Melayu - Jalan Pasar - Jalan Pos Baru - Jalan Baharu - Musaeddin Bridge
6. Motorists from KL heading towards south of Klang or Jalan Banting will have to take:
Bulatan 100 - Persiaran Sultan Ibrahim - Kota Bridge OR
Bulatan 100 - Jalan Batu 3 - Musaeddin Bridge - Jalan Tengku Kelana
7. Motorists from Jalan Keretapi Lama and Jalan Kapar heading towards Jalan Pasar or Lebuh Tapah will have to take:
Jalan Kapar/Jalan Meru - Jalan Raja Bot - Jalan Nanas - Jalan Pasar - Lebuh Tapah OR

HEAVY VEHICLES RESTRICTION ON
PENANG BRIDGE
Please take note that effective 15th August 2008, certain heavy vehicles and slow moving vehicles will be banned from using the Penang Bridge daily during certain hours of the day.
All heavy vehicles except busses will not be permitted on the bridge between 6.30am till 8.30am and also between 5pm and 7pm.
All slow moving vehicles such as tractors, cranes, low loaders, 3 wheelers, forklifts, backhoes, excavators and steamrollers will not be allowed on the bridge from 6am till midnight.
